ROMPOX® - 201 DEKO UV is a high-quality 2-component system for consolidating almost all grit and gravel of any color. The grit and gravel binder is characterized by 100 % UV resistance and very high strength values. ROMPOX® - 201 DEKO UV can be used to create durable surfaces, also with regard to barrier-free path construction. Thanks to the extremely high water permeability, these contribute to sustainable surface unsealing. The hardening prevents grit or gravel from being removed and scattered, which reduces the frequency of maintenance and also enables quick and easy cleaning using brooms, leaf blowers or high-pressure cleaners.

ROMEX® MADE IN GERMANY
Our production site in Meckenheim near Bonn is the center of our claim to high-quality and reliable products. With our own laboratory and a modern research and development department, we set standards in the industry. This is where trend-setting products such as ROMPOX® - ECOFINE are created, which meet the requirements of modern gardening and landscaping and at the same time protect the environment.
When the trees are young or newly planted, the work must not be carried out directly up to the trunk. There must be a sufficient distance of at least 10-15 cm between the tree and the protective ring so that the tree can grow unhindered in the first few years.
A protective ring can be made of plastic or metal, for example, and should be placed at a distance from the trunk equal to the amount the tree will grow in the first few years. The inside of the protective ring can then be filled with loose grit or gravel.
For trees with a trunk diameter of 20 cm or more, the work can be carried out right up to the trunk, as the tree then has sufficient strength to ‘create space’ for itself.
Yes, of course! In principle, all our 2-component epoxy and PU products can be used around swimming pools and pools. These include the pavement jointing mortars ROMPOX® - DRAIN and ROMPOX® - D1, as well as the grit binder ROMPOX® - 201 DEKO UV and ROMPOX® - 202 DEKO EP. These products are resistant to chlorine and salt water and can be used without any problems. However, they cannot be used underwater (e.g. in a pool, garden pond or stream).
In addition, our ROMPOX® - ECOFINE single-component pavement jointing mortar can be used around pools and swimming pools. Although it is a single component mortar, it is also resistant to chlorine and salt water, which has been tested and confirmed by an independent institute.
We advise against using other single component ready-mix mortars, such as ROMPOX® - EASY, as these can slowly dissolve over time. In addition, discolouration can occur.
