Laying recommendation for porcelain
Ceramic tiles
Professional, bonded installation with the right products is essential for a durable and weatherproof covering. Ceramic tiles are often only 2 cm thick. They should therefore be laid firmly and permeable to water. To ensure their longevity, they should be fitted with expansion joints.

Laying recommendation crazy paving
Polygonal slabs / Crazy paving
For a stable installation of polygonal slabs, it is important to use a suitable system, especially because of the different slab thicknesses of 2-6 cm and the conical shape of the slabs. They should be laid bonded and water-permeable and jointed with a strong mortar to make them durable.

Laying recommendation for concrete blocks
Interlocking pavers
We have the perfect double solution for the narrow joints of interlocking paving stones: ROMPOX® - JOINTING SAND NP in combination with ROMPOX® - D7000 JOINT STRENGTHENER. The weed-inhibiting joint sand can be used from as little as 1 mm and the joint strengthener ensures lasting stability.

Laying recommendation slabs
Concrete or natural stone patio slabs
Many concrete and natural stone coverings are provided with coatings that protect against soiling, discoloration and moss. Sometimes these can react with synthetic resins and lead to stains or sandy surfaces. In any case, preliminary tests are advisable.

Resin film
Grouting with our synthetic resin-based paving joint mortars can leave a resin film on the paving stones. This has no influence on the functionality of the paving surfaces and does not constitute a defect.
