ISATEC® special anchors, for all types of dynamic loads, are used to secure traffic areas subject to particularly high loads and to protect them from displacement. The different types of construction ensure that the anchors can be used for almost all types of bracing and stones. The special bending of the metal anchors fulfills three functional properties: A forced joint of 8 mm is secured. The horizontal bearing surface absorbs the dead load of the covering material and thus secures the fixing of the displacement protection due to the high bearing weight. The vertical bend penetrates the bedding and base course to prevent the structure from shifting under traffic load.

ROMEX® MADE IN GERMANY
Our production site in Meckenheim near Bonn is the center of our claim to high-quality and reliable products. With our own laboratory and a modern research and development department, we set standards in the industry. This is where trend-setting products such as ROMPOX® - ECOFINE are created, which meet the requirements of modern gardening and landscaping and at the same time protect the environment.
The anchors are made of 3 mm galvanised steel of the grade "S355". Rusting through is to be expected after 20 years at the earliest if the galvanisation is damaged, which of course can never be completely ruled out. Nevertheless, it would then only be a question of one point of the anchor, not the entire anchor. Thus, no structural problems in functionality are to be expected. Only externally do they change by getting stains/patina. This is comparable to rust film on a car and only leads to an external change.
ROMEX® ISATEC® anchoring technology can be used in the unbonded paving construction method up to a maximum incline of 20 degrees. For steeper paved surfaces, only monolithic, bound construction should be used, as heavy rainfall can wash out the fines from the base course, rendering the entire construction unstable. Relevant regulations in Germany, such as RStO, ZTV-Pflaster-StB or M FP 1, state that surface infiltration is not recommended for surfaces with a gradient of ≥5 %.
